TC Property Class Maintenance

Summary

The Properly Class Maintenance screen is used to build and maintain Property Class Codes and descriptions. Property Class Codes are used to identify property classes for Property Bills.

Step by Step

 

1    Open the Property Class window (TC> Maintenance> Property Class).

  • The Property Class window displays all of the property classes that have been set up in the database.
  • Select a Property Class and click DELETE to delete the selected Property Class.
  • Select a Property Class and click EDIT to edit the selected Properly Class. This will open the Properly Class Maintenance screen.
  • Click the Create Property Class button to create a new Property Class.

 

2    Create a Property Class.

  • The Property Class Code field is used to enter a class code for the property type, such as 210 for Single Family Residence.
  • The Description field is used to enter a description for the Property Class Code, such as SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE for 210.
  • The Percent field is used to enter the Percent of Full Value for this Property Class Code, such as 100 for 100%.
  • The RC Flag field is used to select the Residential/Commercial Class Indicator, for example; select Residential if this code applies to Residential Property.
  • Click the Save button when complete to save the new Property Class.
