Summary

The Neighborhood Maintenance screen is used to build and maintain Neighborhood Codes and Descriptions. Neighborhood Codes are used on the Bill File Header Location screen to identify the neighborhood for the location.

To create a report of all the codes and descriptions in the database, use the Code List Report button from the toolbar.

Step by Step

1    Open the Neighborhood window (TC> Maintenance> Neighborhood).

• The Neighborhood window displays all of the neighborhoods that have been set up in the database.
• Select an neighborhood and click DELETE to delete the selected neighborhood.
• Select an neighborhood and click EDIT open the Neighborhood Maintenance window and edit the existing neighborhood .
• Click the Create Neighborhood button to open the Neighborhood Maintenance window and create a new neighborhood .

2    Create a Neighborhood. 

• The Neighborhood Code field is used to enter the code for the neighborhood, such as COLL for College District.
• The Description field is used to enter the description for the Neighborhood Code, such as COLLEGE DISTRICT for Coll.
• Click the Save button to save the Neighborhood Code.
