HR Census Export

Summary

The Census Export window is used to export general employee information, including medical and dental plan details, to a MS Excel spreadsheet. This exported spreadsheet can then be used to request bids from prospective benefits providers.

Step by Step

 

1     Open the Census Export window (HR> Reports> Census Export).

 

2     Configure the export.

  • Check each Dental deduction/benefit that you would like to include in the export file.
    • Press CTRL+A and SPACE to select or deselect all of the displayed deductions and benefits.
  • Check each Medical deduction/benefit that you would like to include in the export file.
    • Press CTRL+A and SPACE to select or deselect all of the displayed deductions and benefits.
  • Select a Report Date for the export.
  • The exported data will open in a MS Excel spreadsheet. The data columns will include the Employee Number, Last Name, First Name, Date of Birth, Hire Date, Position, Full/Part Time status, Salary, Gender, Enrolled Dental Plan, Enrolled Dental Plan Step, Enrolled Dental Plan Description, Enrolled Medical Plan, Enrolled Medical Plan Step, Enrolled Medical Plan Description, Number of Dependents, Marital Status, ZIP code and whether or not the employee has waived medical or dental coverage.

 

3     Export the report.

  • Click the Export icon to export the specified data.
    • You can view the progress of the export on the Job Viewer window (SS> Utilities> Show Scheduled Jobs).
