Summary
The Application Section Maintenance window is used to create and maintain application sections. These application sections consist of a series of questions and informational narratives that an applicant will need to complete when submitting an application through online Applicant Tracking.
Once an application section is complete, it can be added to an open HR Position.
Step by Step
1 Display the existing Application Sections.
- Open the Application Section Selection window (HR> Maintenance> Application Section).
- Highlight an application section and click the Delete icon to delete the selected application section.
- Application sections that are attached to HR Positions cannot be deleted.
- Highlight an application section and click the Modify icon to edit the selected application section.
- Click the Create icon to create a new application section. This will open the Application Section Maintenance window.
2 Create a new Application Section.
- Enter a unique Code for the new application section.
- This code is only used for internal identification purposes. It will not be displayed in the application process.
- This is a required field and can be up to 15 characters long.
- Enter a Title for the application section.
- The title will be displayed at the top of the application section on the Applicant Tracking Application page.
- This is also a required field and can be up to 64 characters long.
- Click the Create icon drop-down menu to add a Question or Narrative to the application section.
- Questions are created and maintained on the Question Maintenance window (HR> Maintenance> Question).
- Narratives are used provide additional information for the applicant. When you select New Narrative from the drop-down menu, the Narrative section below will be enabled. This field is limited to 256 characters.
- Use the Up and Down icons to order the items as desired.
- Click the Save icon to save the new application section.
- The new application section can now be added to an open position (HR> Maintenance> Position> Application Sections tab).
