Summary
The Notes Search tool is used to search, sort, and delete existing Cirrus Notes. These notes are meant to mimic the practice of writing sticky notes as reminders.
Notes are currently available on the following screens:
- AP Vendor Maintenance
- AR Account Maintenance
- FA Fixed Asset Maintenance
- GL Chart of Accounts Maintenance
- PM Task Maintenance
- PO Purchase Orders
- PR Employee Maintenance
- SS Customer Maintenance
- SS Lot Maintenance
- UB Account Maintenance
This functionality may be expanded to additional records in future releases.
Step by Step
1 Open the Notes Search window.
- The Notes Search screen will display all the Cirrus Notes the system.
- Enter data in the search criteria fields and click the Search button to filter the displayed notes.
2 Open, view, or delete existing notes.
- Click the link in the Record Reference column to open the record the note is associated with.
- When the record is opened, all notes associated with that record will be displayed.
- Use the mouse to hover over the Note Text column to see the full text of the note.
- Select a note in the data grid and click DELETE to remove the record from the record.
