SS Zone Maintenance

Summary

Zones are user-defined groupings that allow you to group lots (for example, residential, commercial, etc.). Zones are attached to lot records using the Lot Maintenance window (SS> Maintenance> Lot> Lot tab> Details section), and can be used when creating Query by Example reports. (Zones are located in the Lot Master table.)

Step by Step

1     View the existing zones.

  • Open the Zone Maintenance window (SS> Maintenance> Zone).
  • The Zone Maintenance window will display all of the zones that have been created in the application.
  • Select a zone in the data grid and the fields in the Edit Zone section will populate with the information attached to the selected zone.
  • Select a zone and click DELETE to delete the highlighted zone.
    • If the zone is attached to a lot, you will not be able to delete the zone.
  • Click the Create Zone button to create a new zone.

 

2     Create a new zone.

  • The Code field is used to identify a unique zone. The value in the Code field can be up to 20 characters long and it must be unique.
  • The Description field is used to enter a description of the zone. The value in the Description field can be up to 50 characters long.
  • Click SAVE to save the new zone.
