Summary

The Contractor Listing report displays a filtered range of contractor details.

Step by Step

1     Open the Contractor Listing report (BP> Reports> Contractor Listing).

2     Configure the report.

  • Check the toggle next to each Work Type that you would like to include in the report. Work types are used to categorize contractors by the type of services they are qualified to provide.
    • By default, all work types will be selected. You can use the Select All or Deselect All icons to select or deselect all the displayed work types.
    • Work types are created and maintained on the Work Type Maintenance window (BP> Maintenance> Work Type).
  • Select a Sort By option from the drop-down menu to specify if the report will sort by Bond Expiration Date, Contractor Last Name, or Contractor Zip Code.
  • The remaining fields are used to filter the contractors that will be included in the report.
    • All of this information can be found on the Contractor Maintenance window (BP> Maintenance> Contractor> open a contractor> General and Bond/Insurance tabs).
  • The top of the report will display the filter options specified when the report was generated. The report data displayed includes the Contractor name, Address, Work Types, Status, Phone number, and the number and expiration date for the Bond, Insurance, State License, and Local License.

3     Print the report.

  • Click the Print icon to process the report immediately or enter a date and time in the field next to the Print icon to schedule the report to generate at a later time. You can view the progress of the report on the Job Viewer window (SS> Utilities> Show Scheduled Jobs).
    • Click the Print icon drop-down menu and select Print Preview to preview the report before printing.
    • Click the Print icon drop-down menu and select Excel to export the report data to an Excel spreadsheet as unformatted data.
    • Click the Print icon drop-down menu and select Excel (Formatted) to export the report data to an Excel spreadsheet that includes much of the Springbrook formatting found on the printed version of the report.
    • Once the report is generated, you can also display the report using the View Reports window (SS> Utilities> View Report).
