SA Assessment Search

Summary

The Assessment Maintenance window is used to open, create, and maintain special assessments.

Step by Step

  • The Assessment Search window (SA> Assessment Search) will display all the assessments that have been created in the SA module.
  • Enter information in the search criteria fields and click the Search button   to filter the assessments that will display in the window.
  • Enter an Assessment Number to filter the assessments by the number assigned when created.
    • The assessment number is composed of a prefix that is set up on the assessment type and the next available numeric value. The number of digits that compose the second part of the assessment number is determined by the value in the Assessment Digits field on the SA Setup window (SA> Utilities> Setup).
  • Enter an Assessment Date From and an Assessment Date To to filter the assessments by a date range.
    • The Assessment Date is the date the assessment was created.
  • Enter an Assessment Type to filter the assessments by a common assessment type.
    • You can also click the field search button to select an assessment type from a list.
    • Assessment types are created and maintained on the Assessment Type Maintenance window (SA> Maintenance> Assessment Type).
  • Enter or select an Assessment Status to filter the assessments by their current status.
    • Assessment statuses are created and maintained on the Assessment Status Maintenance window (SA> Maintenance> Assessment Status).
  • Enter or select a Customer Number to filter the assessments by the customer account associated with an assessment.
  • Enter a Last Name to filter the assessments by the last name of the customer account associated with an assessment.
  • Use the Bill Method drop-down menu to filter the assessments by the bill method assigned to the assessment when it was created.
  • Enter or select a Principal Fee Code or an Interest Fee Code to filter the assessments by the principal or interest fee code attached to the assessment when it was created.
  • Enter or select a Billing Cycle to filter the assessments by the billing cycle they are assigned.
  • Enter or select a Tax Lot to filter the assessments by their associated tax lot.
  • Use the Street NumberStreet Directional, and Street Name fields to filter the assessments by the individual elements or a combination of elements that make up the service address assigned to the tax lot on the assessment.
  • Click the Search button to filter the assessments that will display in the window.
  • Select an assessment and click DELETE to delete the selected assessment.
  • Select an assessment and click EDIT to open an existing assessment.
  • Click ADD to create a new assessment. This will open the Assessment Maintenance window.
