Release notes for the Springbrook Cirrus application. This list will be updated as enhancements and corrections are released.

07/12/2021

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Springbrook Help Center: Updated the top menu in Cirrus to display the Springbrook Help Center launch icon in order to meet visual standards.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Collapsed Navigation Menu: Updated the main navigation menu to properly display all the navigation options when in collapsed state.
• Enhancement: Application Wide: Made a number of small updates to the display properties of the Cirrus screens in order to meet visual standards.
• Correction: Application Wide> Data Grids: Corrected a validation issue that could prevent users from successfully editing editable fields in a data grid.

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Data Grids: Updated the default number of items that display in a data grid from 10 to 25.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Validation Errors: Updated the way the system displays validation errors in order to more clearly and efficiently display those errors when more than one error is encountered. Multiple validation errors will now display as a list on a single pop-up window, each with a short description of the issue that must be addressed.
• Correction: Application Wide> Data Grids: Corrected an issue that could improperly display the data loading indicator after the data has already been loaded in the data grid.

06/28/2021

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Downloaded File Names: Updated the formatting of the file name the application assigns to downloadable files in order to provide more relevant details when a client searches for the file after downloading. These file names will now include the job description and a timestamp.
• Enhancement: BR> Utilities> Reset Cleared Balance: The Reset Cleared Balance tool has been added to the BR module. This tool is used to clear a large amount of uncleared data and to establish an accurate internal account balance for those clients who have not historically used the Bank Reconciliation module.

• Enhancement: Application Wide: Updated the language used across the application to improve clarity and user-friendliness.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Settings: Updated the Bank Accounts section on the Settings screen in order to display the Last Cleared Date.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Updated the Select Transactions screen to improve clarity and meet Cirrus visual standards.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Delete a Batch: Corrected an issue that could prevent the link displayed in the deleted batch notification from directing the user to the Jobs Viewer as expected.

• Enhancement: BR> Enter Checks/Enter Deposits> Add New: Updated the Add Check and Add Deposit functionality in order to allow users to add multiple checks or deposits without being forced to click the Add New button between each new check or deposit.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Module Selector: Updated the Module Selector field in order to meet Cirrus visual standards.
• Correction: Application Wide> Date Fields: Corrected a validation issue that could allow users to input improperly formatted dates and then present the user with an unhelpful error message on save or print.
• Correction: BR> Enter Checks/Enter Deposits> Add New: Corrected an issue that prevent the check or deposit side bar data fields from displaying as expected when a user opens the Enter Checks or Enter Deposits windows when the windows are not full screen or when they are opened in full screen and then reduced in size.

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Employee Selection: Updated the Employee Selection screen to enable optional Advanced Search options. These options include Supervisor, Union Unit, Enrollment Plan, Reporting Group, and Position.
• Enhancement: Application Wide: Made a number of small updates to the display properties of the Cirrus screens in order to meet visual standards.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Notifications: Updated the notifications pane to meet Cirrus visual standards.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected an issue that could prevent a user from successfully adding transactions to an import file via the Add button on Import Transactions screen and could cause the application to freeze if the Import button was subsequently clicked.
• Correction: Application Wide> Batch Processes: Corrected an issue that could prevent the batch step icons displayed on the left side of the batch landing page from displaying as expected.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected an issue that could prevent the Employee Selection screen launched from the Select Transactions screen from displaying any employee search results when using the Basic Search search criteria.

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Data Grids: Updated the Columns selection drop-down menu in order to allow users to select all or deselect all available columns via a single toggle. This allows users to display or hide all columns, including default columns. Using the Reset Grid Defaults button will automatically reset the grid to the default columns.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Data Grids: Updated single-selection data grids, such as selecting a Vendor when filtering transactions in a Clear Transactions batch, to remove the individual toggle check mark for the selected line item. The entire selected line items on single-selection data grids will now be highlighted.

• Enhancement: Application Wide: The Cirrus application has been updated to include a new color scheme and new standard fonts.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Data Grids: Updated data grids across the application in order to enable additional data grid actions. Users can now:
  • Group table contents by column header
  • Specify which columns are displayed or hidden
  • Reset a grid to the default display settings
  • Export grid data to Excel or CSV via buttons within the data grid
  • Edit/delete grid data via buttons within the data grid
• Enhancement: Application Wide> My Profile: Updated the My Profile page to include the ability to reset data grid preferences across the application back to the default settings.
• Correction: Application Wide> Batch Selection: Corrected an issue that could prevent previously-generated batches from displaying in the expected order on the Batch Selection window.
• Correction: Application Wide> Batch Selection: Corrected a formatting issue that could prevent Batch Number and Batch Month data from being displayed as expected.
• Correction: Application Wide> Data Grids: Corrected an issue that could improperly allow users to resize the header on the Select/Deselect data grid column.
• Correction: Application Wide> Data Grids: Corrected an issue that could prevent some data grid columns displayed in V7 data grids from displaying in Cirrus data grids.
• Correction: Application Wide> Primary Buttons: Updated the application to ensure that each Cirrus page only displays one primary button (displayed in blue) in order to allow users to use the CTRL+ENTER shortcut key to activate that primary button.
• Correction: Application Wide> Reports: Corrected an issue that could prevent some report filter drop-down menus from displaying the menu contents in alphabetical order as expected.
• Correction: Application Wide> 404 Page: Corrected an issue that could improperly display the loading message rather than the expected 404 page when a non-logged in user attempts to access a Cirrus page via direct link.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected an issue that could improperly include both the + and – signs in the Cleared Items and Select Deposit fields.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected formatting and button order issues that could prevent the Vendor Selection window from meeting Cirrus display standards.
• Correction: BR> Utilities> Enter Checks: Corrected an issue that could prevent checks entered and voided through the Enter Checks process from being properly saved as voided.
• Correction: BR> Utilities> Enter Deposits: Updated the Deposit Amount field to ensure entered values are formatted correctly and any existing values in the field are automatically highlighted when using the TAB key to navigate to the field.

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Shortcut Keys: Added the CTRL+D shortcut key functionality to Cirrus. Users can now use the CTRL+D shortcut key to deselect all the toggles in a multi-toggle field. This shortcut key will work in tandem with the previously existing CTRL+A shortcut key that selects all the toggles.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Shortcut Keys: Added the ESC shortcut key functionality to Cirrus. Users can now use the ESC shortcut key to close a modal window that is displayed in front of the main browser window.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Shortcut Keys: Added the CTRL+ENTER shortcut key functionality to Cirrus. Users can now use the CTRL+ENTER shortcut key to execute the primary or floating action on a Cirrus page. This action will differ from page to page. For example, CTRL+ENTER will execute the PRINT button on BR> Reports> Bank Activity and the SEARCH button on BR> Display.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected an issue that could prevent the system from including the Statement Ending Balance value specified in the Settings step when calculating the Bank Statement Balance on the Select Transactions step.
• Correction: BR> Receipt Deposits> Select Batches: Corrected a validation issue that could improperly allow a user at organizations using multi-bank deposits to submit batch selections that are not associated with a bank account.

04/26/2021

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Data Grid: Updated data grids across Cirrus to ensure users can select multiple line items in the data grid and those selections persist as the user browses through data grid pages or changes the number of line items displayed on each page.
• Correction: BR> Receipt Deposits> Select Batches: Corrected a validation issue that could improperly flag the Bank Account filter field in red before the user attempts to submit the filter criteria.
• Correction: Application Wide> Report History: Corrected an issue that could improperly display previously generated reports in ascending order rather than the expected descending order.

04/19/2021

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Reports: Added Report History functionality to all Cirrus reports. This allows clients to re-generate one of the last three reports they generated by automatically populating all the report options to match that previously-generated report.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Notifications: Updated the notifications functionality in Cirrus to group multiple notification together when they refer to a single action, such as the Pending and Successful notifications displayed when generating a report.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Create New Batch: Corrected an issue that could improperly allow a user to create a new batch in a single batch process when an open batch exists. This only occurs when an organization uses enhanced batch security and the user in question is not part of the group security associated with the currently open batch.

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Import: Updated the import page across the application in order to automatically populate user-provided information, such as import configuration, based on previously entered import details.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Downloaded File Names: Updated the formatting of the file name the application assigns to downloadable files in order to provide more relevant details when a client searches for the file after downloading. These file names will now include the job description and a timestamp.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Clear Search Criteria: Updated all search pages in the application to include a Clear button that allows clients to clear all previously-specified search criteria.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Batch Processes: Updated the batch processes in Cirrus to use enhanced batch security when that feature is enabled. When using enhanced batch security, clients will be able to enter a Name and specify the Group Security for a new batch.
• Correction: BR> Reports> Bank Activity: Corrected an issue that could prevent the report filters and settings from displaying as expected.
• Correction: BR> Utilities> Enter Checks: Corrected an issue that could prevent the Add New and Edit buttons from working as expected.

04/05/2021

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Notification Links: Updated application notifications in order to ensure the links displayed in the notifications link to the expected output. Report notifications will open the generated report, export notifications will download the export file, Settings step notifications will open the batch landing page for the specific Settings step, pending job notifications will open the Jobs Viewer, and error notifications that are associated with a job (if set up to display) will open that job in the Jobs Viewer. Notifications that do not link to an output will not be displayed as links. Notifications will also no longer be displayed for maintenance events such as add, edit, or delete.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Batch Landing Pages: Updated the application to ensure changes made to how batches are displayed on a batch landing page (Card View or List View) persist after the application is closed. After changing this setting, a user will see their selected batch display view the next time they access the application.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Data Grid Filters: Updated the standard data grid filter layout across the application to match the layout and ordering used in the V7 desktop application. This update will also ensure that the filter fields use the same TAB order as V7 desktop.

03/22/2021

• Enhancement: Application Wide: Updated the batch landing pages across the application in order to give a position of prominence to the last batch the user was working in. In card view, the last batch will be displayed at the top left and in list view, the last batch will display at the top of the list.
• Enhancement: Application Wide: Updated the batch navigation menu to display the batch step icons in color rather than the previous grayscale.
• Correction: Application Wide: Corrected an issue that could improperly display the header text for list boxes in the application.

03/15/2021

• Enhancement: Application Wide: Updated all toggle list boxes to provide more information to the user via hover-over tooltips for the items in the list box.
• Enhancement: Application Wide: Updated all toggle list boxes that include more than one selectable toggle item to allow users to select all or none of the toggles via the Select All and Deselect All buttons.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected an issue that could prevent the Select Transactions button from being enabled as expected when the transaction search filters are displayed.

03/09/2021

• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Settings: Updated the Settings step in order to prevent unnecessary confusion by removing bank balance values from the Bank Account selection section, as these values are not applicable in the Clear Transactions process.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Settings: Updated the Settings step so clients can specify a Statement Beginning Date, a Statement End Date, and a Statement Ending Balance. This enhancement improves the precision of the Clear Transactions process and enables the calculations required to display the Cleared Items value in the following Select Transactions step.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Updated the layout of the Select Transactions page in order to reduce the amount of space required by the running transaction values display at the top of the page, thereby providing additional space for the data grid to display the selected transactions.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Added the Cleared Items field to the running calculations displayed at the top of the Select Transactions page. This Cleared Items field will display the value of any cleared items that fall between the Statement Begin Date and Statement End Date specified on the Settings step, including cleared adjustments, checks, and deposits.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Updated the Select Transactions page to improve usability by displaying more data grid data without requiring excessive scrolling.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Updated the Select Transaction data grid to allow users to sort the displayed data by the selected column header.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Updated the Select Transactions page to improve usability by reorganizing how the search criteria fields are displayed.
• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Added the ability to Show Filters and Hide Filters on the Select Transactions page in order to use the page space more efficiently.
• Enhancement: BR> Receipt Deposits> Select Batches: Updated the Select Batches step with partial batch selection by payment type functionality. This new feature allow clients to select cash and check receipts for immediate deposit on a frequent schedule while saving credit card receipts for a deposit at the point when the credit card receipts are actually deposited in your bank account.
• Enhancement: BR> Reports: Updated all the BR report pages to match Cirrus display standards for fields and toggles.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected an issue that could cause an error when attempting to import a transaction file that does not have properly configured headers, preventing users from completing the Clear Transactions process.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected an alignment issue that could prevent the search fields on the Select Transactions page from displaying as expected.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions: Corrected a display issue that could cause the Select Transactions data grid to be inaccessible after attempting to resize a data grid column.
• Correction: BR> Receipt Deposits> Select Batches: Corrected an issue that could cause the Select All checkbox in the data grid header to only select the lines on the displayed page rather than all the data grid results as expected.
• Correction: BR> Receipt Deposits> Select Batches: Corrected an issue that could improperly display the Select Batches data grid results page numbers as negative numbers rather than the expected positive numbers.

• Correction: BR> Utilities> Undo Cleared Checks: Corrected a validation issue that could cause the Bank Account field to display in red even when other valid search criteria are entered.
• Correction: Application Wide: Corrected an issue that could prevent some drop-down menus from loading the drop-down contents as expected.
• Correction: Application Wide: Corrected an issue that could cause a delay when a number of rows are selected on a data grid and then the user navigates to another page in that data grid.

• Enhancement: Application Wide> Batch Processes: Batch processes across the application have been enhanced to display the batch step label for every step in the batch. Previously, the label would only display when the mouse cursor hovered over the batch step icon.
• Enhancement: Application Wide: As a part of the rebranding process, the application now displays the Springbrook Cirrus logo at the top of the page.
• Correction: Cirrus Login Portal: Corrected an issue that could prevent the Cirrus login portal from displaying active incident information from statuspage.io as expected.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions: Corrected a permissions issue that could improperly prevent authorized clients from successfully creating a new Clear Transactions batch.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Commit: Corrected an issue that could prevent the displayed Account Balance from updating as expected when the current date is specified as the commit date.
• Correction: Application Wide: Updated the links from the Cirrus Login Portal and from the Documentation option under the Support menu to point to the updated Cirrus help landing page.

• Enhancement: BR> Clear Transactions> Import: The Import step of the Clear Transactions process has been updated. This process is now part of the Select Transactions process rather than a standalone step. Users will also be able to add and edit individual transactions to the import through the application itself.
• Enhancement: Application Wide: Updated the jobs scheduler service across the application in order to improve job scheduling performance. The new queue-based scheduler service will prevent performance problems that could affect the previous cloud polling-based scheduler service.
• Enhancement: Application Wide: Added 404 page functionality in order to notify users when they have navigated to a non-existent page in the application or when they are not permitted to view the current page. When presented with the 404 page error, users will be given the opportunity to quickly return to their last page.
• Enhancement: Application Wide: Updated the application to display the current Cirrus environment at the top of the application window. This environment description will match the environment selected when the user logs in and will help confirm where they are working if their organization uses multiple environments.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions: Corrected an issue that could prevent the progress bar that displays above a processing batch step from displaying as expected.
• Correction: BR> Utilities> Enter Deposits: Corrected a display issue with the Deposit Date column that could cause the date format to display as DD/MM/YYYY rather than the expected MM/DD/YYYY.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Select Transactions and BR> Utilities> Enter Deposits: Corrected an issue that could prevent the displayed Current Balance value from matching the actual current balance in the Bank Activity report as expected.
• Correction: BR> Utilities> Update Check Numbers and Dates: Corrected an issue that could cause the application to become unresponsive when editing the search criteria.
• Correction: BR> Clear Transactions> Settings: Corrected an issue that could prevent the value entered in the Statement Balance field from properly populating the Statement Balance displayed at the top of the Select Transactions window.

• Enhancement: Application Wide: Made a series of updates to the left navigation items to improve the transition animations and provide additional information via tooltips.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> My Profile: Updated the interactive animations for the My Profile menu in order to improve the appearance of the user interface.
• Enhancement: Application Wide> Favorite icon: Updated the Favorite icon functionality in order to allow users to create a new favorites group when flagging a page as a favorite.
• Enhancement: Home Landing Page: Updated the Springbrook Cirrus Home page with a number of enhancements meant to improve Favorites usability. These changes include updates to how links and buttons are displayed and helpful information about how to add to your favorites.
• Enhancement: BR> BR Home Page: Updated the BR Home page in order to allow clients to add the page to their Favorites page.
• Enhancement: BR> BR Display: Renamed the BR Master Search page to BR Display and added the ability to hide the page filters to improve usability.
• Correction: Application Wide: Corrected an issue that could prevent checkboxes from displaying as expected.
• Correction: Application Wide: Corrected an issue that could prevent the close window button on the shortcuts Unsaved Changes window from displaying as expected.
• Correction: Application Wide: Corrected an issue that could improperly enable the Module selection menu when the user is editing Favorites.
• Correction: Application Wide: Corrected an issue that could improperly render field labels when a user places the cursor in a required field and then exits that field without entering the required information.

• Correction: Application Wide> Favorites: Corrected an issue that could improperly populate the Name field with the last favorites group when attempting to create a new favorites group.
• Correction: Application Wide> Batch Landing Page: Updated the Batch Landing Page across the application to ensure the status of the current step is displayed as expected in both card and list view.
• Correction: Jobs Viewer: Corrected an issue that could cause some inconsistencies in the items displayed in the Batch Type drop-down menu.
• Correction: Jobs Viewer: Updated the page title to read Jobs Viewer rather than Show Scheduled Jobs.

• Correction: BR> Utilities> Undo Cleared Checks : Corrected a validation issue that could improperly allow users to search cleared checks without specifying the either the Bank Account, Vendor Number, or Employee Number.
