Summary

The Item Search screen is used to display a filtered list of existing IC items. Filtering data includes general item information and attributes, item location data, and related vendor data.

Step by Step

• Open the Item Search screen (IC> Item Search)
• The data grid will display all of the inventory items created in the application.
• This list can be filtered by entering item information on the General, Location, Vendor, or Attributes tabs and then clicking the Search button.
  • By selecting the General, Location, Vendor, or Attributes tab, you can change how the inventory items are organized and displayed in the data grid below.
  • Click ADVANCED SEARCH to display additional filter options.
• Select an item and the item quantity and value details will update in the Details section to the right if the Calculate Quantities toggle is checked.
  • On the General and Attributes tabs, select an item and the PO Quantity, Requisition Quantity, On Hand Quantity, and On Hand Value fields will display the item details. The Location tab will display these details as well as the Overstock Quantity and Value for the selected location. The WO Quantity field has not yet been implemented.
    • If the selected item has a PO Quantity or Requisition Quantity greater than zero, click the Open Batch button   next to the PO Quantity or Requisition Quantity fields to open the Outstanding Purchase Orders or Approved Requisitions screens.
  • The Details section is disabled when the Vendor tab is selected.
• Select an item and click DELETE to delete the selected item.
  • You can select multiple items to delete. You will be presented with a confirmation message that displays all the selected records to ensure you want to proceed.
  • You will not be able to delete an inventory item that has on-hand inventory.
• Select an item and click EDIT to open an item.
• Click CREATE ITEM to create a new inventory item. This will open the Item Maintenance window.
